We cannot refill prescriptions based on a phone message or an e-message.
It is very important to have regular health care - an appointment with your physician - if you are taking a prescription medication - even if you have been taking it for a long time.
When a prescription is written the physician sets the amount and the refills for a time frame by which the physician needs to meet with you to discuss how the medication is working for you, possible side effects, bloodwork if necessary, etc.
In a few circumstances, the physician is able to write a short refill to make sure you don't run out before we can book an appointment for you. This situation would require discussion with our office and a refill request from your pharmacy to make sure we sent the prescription to the correct location and have all details of what medication you are out of and when you last purchased it.
Please book an appointment online or by calling us to get your refills. If you think you will be out of your medication before your appointment, please call us and leave a message or send us an emessage and we will contact you.
